Little League sluggers celebrate Opening Day

Though rain delayed the original open ceremonies scheduled for March, local Hollister Little League players got their chance to take the diamond April 1. The teams paraded into the ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park with their banners in tow, escorted by San Benito High School baseball players. Even the youngest Little Leaguers expressed their love of the game, including a young one who spoke on the diamond.
