Dear Editor:
My wife and I would like to thank all those involved with the Veterans Day Parade and ceremonies in front of the Veterans Memorial Building.
We would like to give a kudo to the City Council, the county Board of Supervisors, the state of California, the county Sheriff’s Department and the Hollister Police Department for the closing of San Benito Street.
It was so nice to be able to hear the ceremonies in front of the Veterans Building without the noise of traffic.
We would like to also give a large kudo and our heart-warm thanks to the many veterans who took their time to make it all possible.
We would like to thank the many marching units and citizens who donated their time and money to make this a memorable Veterans Day for us.
