Genevieve Adornetto
Genevieve Adornetto passed away May 22, 2007 in Los Gatos after a short illness. She was born on Christmas Day 1923, in Loguivy de la Mer, France, the fourth child of five born to Piere and Marie Ravad. During the second World War, she met and married U.S. Army Major Joseph Adornetto in Paris, France. She came to America with 600 other "war brides" on a Liberty ship that arrived in New York. Genevieve gave birth to two daughters, Michele born in 1946 and Janet born in 1951. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Adornetto (1961). Genevieve worked as a nurse in Alameda and will be remembered for her vibrant and energetic personality. She will be missed by all her family and friends including: her daughters, Michele Burch (Roger) and Janet Vanderhoof (Austin), grandchildren Joseph (Jennifer) and Sean (Darlene) Burch and Bryan (Laurie), Blair and Blake Vanderhoof and her great-grandchildren Joseph, Tyler, Sarah, Ian and Knox Burch and Camden Vanderhoof.
John (Jack) L. O’Donnell
John "Jack" L. O'Donnell passed away Saturday at the age of 98 at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Hollister, he was a retired apricot and walnut orchardist. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic church; Hollister Elk's Lodge, No. 1436; S.I.R.S. and San Benito county Historical Society. He is survived by his son, Jim O'Donnell

Joyce Jo (Green) O’Neal
Born in Clovis, New Mexico, to Joseph and Isabel Green, Joyce was the second of six children. her older brother James, was developmentally disabled so Joyce was the one who helped her mother look after her brothers and sisters. Her brothers and sisters called her "Sissy." It was a nickname that stuck throughout her life.
