HAZEL SCOTT CRONIN CONNERY, born 7/6/15 in Whitney, SD and a resident of Gilroy, died peacefully surrounded by family on 4/3/09. She was a highly adored daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Predeceased by husbands Patrick Cronin and Charles Connery and daughter Maeve Cronin-Williams. Hazel will be sadly missed by her children Deirdre (late Hugh) Saracino, Eileen (late Daniel) Cuevas, Kevin (Gail) Cronin, Kathleen Cronin (Sean Maffett), Joan Cronin (Sean Dempsey), and Coemella Cronin (John Wilson), and her loving sister Ruth. Loving Grandma to 19, Great-Grandma to 6 and Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Despite life's many challenges, Hazel remained unflappable, gracious, positive, and patient. Her garden and home were reflections of her character. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy, Thursday, 4/9/09, 10:00 A.M. Born in Pasco, WA, Phil was a veteran of WWII, taught math for 26 years, was a Scout Master and member of the South Valley Symphony.

Carol entered into rest Thursday July 12, 2007. Born August 10, 1963 in Mountain View, CA, she resided most of her life in Sunnyvale, CA. She lived her life to the fullest, while courageously facing the many challenges of cystic fibrosis. As a double lung transplant recipient in 1997, she truly valued the additional time she was given. She loved going to concerts, traveling, bowling and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Arabela Rose Barajas died at birth in San Jose. She is the daughter of Jackie Barajas of Hollister.

Passed away at his home in San Jose on Jan. 6, 2009. Husband of Leonor Esparza of San Jose. Father of Arnold E. Esparza Jr. of San Jose, Edward J. Esparza of Los Angeles, Ascencion Esparza of San Jose and Concepcion Esparza of Los Angeles. Brother of Daniel P. Esparza of San Jose. A native of Juchipila, Zac., Mexico. He moved to the Santa Clara Valley in 1951 and has resided here since. He retired from the Norton Company of Santa Clara and enjoyed gardening and taking care of his small orchard. Vigil Monday, Jan. 12, 2008 – 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Mass Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 – 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilroy.

Rosalinda Duran passed away December 4, 2007. A visitation will begin 11 am Monday at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be said 1 pm Monday afternoon at St. Mary Catholic Church.
