Dear Editor,
Election time is my favorite. I never fail to vote. I hope you do the same. This is a time we have the opportunity to elect the ones we feel are qualified. The time to kick out the ones who haven’t pleased us. I work hard to understand, listen to the candidates and what kind of ideas they bring. To convince me the person has to show intelligence and enthusiasm for the future. Honest, keep the word, business like, unselfish, integrity and compassion. Not so stuck up that when you call he hangs up on you. When you ask a question, he should be able to answer without getting mad. I might ask too much. It would be hard to find one with all these qualities. We’ve been stuck with some politicians that are opposite. I hate to lose my vote on a crook; they can get away with murder. Sometimes they are hard to recognize. They show no guilt because they have no conscience. Let’s hold hands and try to pick up some good apples and leave the others for the birds.
I’d like to see the losers get out with grace. Remember, when you try to force yourself in a place that your sure you’re not welcome you cannot live comfortable and make all the others uncomfortable.
Also, I would like to thank everyone who helped me barbecue 1,150 chicken halves at Immaculate Conceptions only fund raiser of the year last Sunday. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.
This is just my opinion. God Bless this nation. I feel we need his blessing.
