Every year, the Hazel Hawkins Hospital’s Auxiliary works hard to
raise money to provide scholarships for students in health related
fields. Over a span of 56 years the Auxiliary has awarded more than
$150,000 in scholarships. This year, they awarded $29,900 to 23
recipients who are students studying to be physicians, physician
assistants, nurses and bio-medical engineers.

Every year, the Hazel Hawkins Hospital’s Auxiliary works hard to raise money to provide scholarships for students in health related fields. Jessica Angula, Laura Brigantino, Melia Ichien, Peggy Jones, Patty Toste and Maria Villalta are attending Gavilan College; Simoney Orosco and Bernadette Rodriguez are attending California State University, Stanislaus; Ali Bootwala is attending Duke University; Brenna Carrillo-Zazueta is attending the University of the Pacific; Tim Christenson is attending University of California, Santa Barbara; Darren Coates and Hector Sotelo are attending UC Davis; Nicole Donley is attending Foothill College; Karina Gomez is attending Cabrillo College; Virgina Hernandez is attending CSU Dominquez Hills; Griselda Larios is attending the Institute of Medical Education; Katelyn Morehouse is attending San Francisco State University; Cassandra Pate is attending Cal Poly; Clinton Rodriguez is attending UC San Diego; Summer Sexton is attending Azusa Pacific University; Jaclyn Soto is attending San Francisco State University and Jackie Whitehead is attending Sonoma State University.

The Auxiliary congratulates each recipient for their hard work and wishes them well for the upcoming school year.
