Troy Lemings

Hollister police have arrested two registered sex offenders for failing to register properly, according to a statement from police.
Police on Wednesday arrested one man at the homeless shelter and another at the home of family members – they were Troy Lemings, 44, and Isaias Sernas Jr., 38 – after they had failed to register their addresses.
According to the statement from police:
On Wednesday, Hollister Police Detective Chris Wells and Officer Bo Leland conducted compliance checks on local sex registrants. Two were arrested and one is still sought by police.
Sex Offenders are required to register within 5 days of their birthdays, within 5 days of moving from one home to another and those who are transient are required to register every 30 days. Officers were able to track down one sex offender that was out of compliance at the San Benito County Homeless Shelter. Troy Lemings (44) was arrested without incident.
Isaias Sernas Jr. (38) was arrested at a home in the 1200 block of Monica Court for also being in violation of his requirement to register his address. Sernas was staying with relatives on Monica Court after falsely reporting he lived on the 800 block of Hillcrest Road.
Both Sernas and Lemings were transported to the San Benito County Jail and they were booked for violation of their registration requirements.
Police were unable to locate a third registrant. Martin Fernandez Guardado (50) has missed his yearly registration and is suspected of not living in the home on the La Machia Court where he last registered.
A formal arrest warrant for Guardado is in process. Police are asking if anyone knows of his whereabouts to please contact Detective Chris Wells at 636-4330 ext. 114.
