CAR THEFT:
John Gonzalez Estrada, 20, of 5750 Frazier Lake Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police on South Street at 1:30pm on Tuesday on charges of car theft and possession of stolen property, felonies, police said. Estrada was driving a stolen black 1994 Ranger pickup truck that had been reported stolen on Oct. 7 from the 2300 block of Bert Drive, police said.
Unknown suspects stole a
white 2003 GMC Sierra pickup truck from the 600 block of Sixth Street sometime between Thursday, Oct. 14 and Friday, Oct. 15, police said.
CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON:
David Charles Dearaujo, 21, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for carrying a concealed knife in a vehicle, a felony, in the 300 block of South Street at 10:14pm on Monday, police said.
