allegedly assaulting her husband.

A 43-year-old Hollister resident was arrested May 27 on suspicion of assaulting her husband. According to police, the husband phoned police saying his wife had slapped him then grabbed his shirt and scratched him on the neck.
The woman was taken to San Benito County Jail for charges of inflicting a corporal injury on a spouse.
Battery
A 51-year-old female Hollister resident was arrested May 27 in the 300 block of Rustic Street on suspicion of battering another woman outside the home. According to police, after a verbal argument the suspect scratched the victim across the left arm.
The suspect was given a criminal citation and released.
