Driving Under the Influence:

Jonathan Bender, 18, of the 1600 block of Foxwood Street in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of causing an injury while driving under the influence, a felony, after crashing his vehicle north of Meridian Drive on Fairview Road at 11:36pm Thursday, according to the CHP. The passengers in Bender’s vehicle were injured, according to the CHP.

Jennifer Galindo, 36, of the 1400 block of Anzar Road in San Juan Bautista, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office stopped her on Highway 156 near Lucy Brown Road on Saturday at 1:31am, according to the CHP.

Juan Manuel Zavala, 22, of the 7800 block of Fairview Road in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and an open container, an infraction, after being stopped for a traffic violation at Fairview Road and San Felipe Road at 12:45am Sunday, according to the CHP.

Leo Lemuel Reynoso, 27, of the 1000 block of Powell Street in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, after the police received a call that Reynoso had fallen asleep in the McDonald’s drive through on San Felipe Road at 5:35pm Saturday, police said. Reynoso then woke up and continued out of the drive through before police arrested him in front of Kragen Auto Parts, police said.

Roberto Casas, 58, of the 3200 block of San Juan Road, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on San Felipe Road at 2am Sunday, police said.

April Leslie McKnight, 19, of the 900 block of Prospect Avenue in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Santa Ana Road east of San Felipe Road at 11:42pm Saturday, according to the CHP.

Drug Possession:

Karin Ordonez, 41, of the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, a felony, transporting a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, after police observed a vehicle code violation on Sixth Street, police said. Ordonez was carrying 0.81 grams of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe in her backpack, police said. Ordonez told the police she was going to sell the methamphetamine, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
