Grand theft, Christopher Court
At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, a Hollister male juvenile was arrested and booked into juvenile hall for stealing $700. The mother of the suspect noticed the money was missing, confronted her son and he denied taking it. The victim called the police and he was arrested.

Vehicle theft, Central Avenue
Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle was stolen from the street in front of a residence on the 1600 block of Central Avenue. No suspect information was available.
Identity theft, Valley View Road
At 9:40 a.m. on Monday, a mother received a legitimate letter at her residence on the 1500 block of Valley View Road from the Social Security Department saying her daughter owed money on the money she earned at her job. The mother said that it couldn’t have been her daughter because she is 13. Police said someone was using the daughter’s Social Security number to collect wages. No suspect information was available.
Annoying phone calls, Scenic Circle
At 9:57 p.m. on Monday, a victim reported receiving annoying phone calls from an ex-boyfriend’s step-dad at her residence on the 2000 block of Scenic Circle. Police said the victim and the ex-boyfriend used to lived together and when she asked him to leave, the step-dad, a Salinas man, called her threatening her because his step-son was kicked out. The case has been referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
Annoying phone calls, Primrose Court
At 8:30 p.m. on Monday, a victim reported receiving several calls from a woman wanting to speak with the victim’s brother. The suspect is a female out of Van Nuys and police said the suspect calls the victim a lot.
