Biker Brawl
A large fight was reported at 10:30pm Saturday in Paine’s Restaurant, the Hollister Police Department said. The fight closed the restaurant for the evening, but no one was arrested, police said.
Carjacking
A San Jose Mercury newspaper delivery man had his Mazda taken from him at 4:56am Sunday in the 300 block of McCray Street in Hollister, police said. The delivery man was fixing a news stand when three men approached him and demanded the keys to his car, police said. One of the men told the victim that he had a gun, punched him in the face and took the keys, police said. Police suspect two thin and one heavy set Hispanic men, all about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 18 years old.
Vehicle Theft
A 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen at about 11am Sunday in the 600 block of Sally Street in Hollister, police said. The bike had been parked and locked but was missing when the owner returned, police said. There are no suspects.
Assault With a Deadly Weapon
A man was found who’d been hit in the head during the rally at 3:20pm Sunday at the intersection of Hawkins Street and Victoria Avenue, police said. There was a four-inch cut on his forehead, police said. There are no suspects.
Burglary
A residence was entered at about 9pm Sunday in the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue in Hollister, police said. The person fled out of a window when the owner arrived home, police said. About $180 in cash was taken, police said. There are no suspects.

A 40-year-old Santa Cruz woman was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor, after officers found her passed out on a lawn at 2:51pm Friday in the 1000 block of Monterey Street in Hollister, police said.

A 24-year-old Soledad man was arrested by police on suspicion of cocaine possession, a felony, after pulling him over and finding 0.03 grams of suspected cocaine at 7:30pm Saturday at Fourth and East streets in Hollister, police said.
Domestic Violence
A 39-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, after officers responded to a disturbance call at 12:30pm Saturday in Hollister, police said. The man held a woman down, causing minor injuries, police said.
An 27-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, after officers found him at 6pm Saturday at Monterey and Fifth streets in Hollister, police said. Officers saw the man hit and push a woman into shrubs, police said.
A 34-year-old Salinas woman was arrested by police on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, after officers responded to a disturbance call at 8:28pm Saturday in Hollister, police said. The woman had scratched a man’s face and hit him, police said.
Drug Sales
A 25-year-old San Jose man and a 26-year-old San Jose man were arrested by police on suspicion of marijuana sales, a felony, at 7:03pm Saturday at Fourth and Monterey streets in Hollister, police said. Officers found 33 grams of marijuana individually packaged in plastic bags, police said.
Battery on a
Peace Officer
An 18-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, a misdemeanor after officers responded to a party at 11:27pm Saturday in the 600 block of Central Avenue, police said. The man pulled an officer to prevent her from entering the resident to respond to a fight, police said.
A 50-year-old Hollister woman was arrested by police on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, a misdemeanor, after responding to a call for help at 12:33am Monday in the 300 block of Richardson Drive, police said. The woman was yelling at a man and when asked to calm down, pushed an officer in the chest, police said.
Battery
A 26-year old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of battery, a misdemeanor, after officers responded to a disturbance call at 12:56am Sunday in the 400 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said. The man had been denied entry to the Vault Restaurant and had punched a man in the face, police said.
