Around 12 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Olive and Prune
streets, officers arrested a 51-year-old suspect after they
discovered a concealed knife and rifle silencer in his pockets. The
man was driving on Prune Street when officers pulled him over
because of an expired registration. After issues with the man’s
identification, officers searched him and his vehicle finding the
two illegal items.
Concealed weapon, Olive Street

Around 12 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Olive and Prune streets, officers arrested a 51-year-old suspect after they discovered a concealed knife and rifle silencer in his pockets. The man was driving on Prune Street when officers pulled him over because of an expired registration. After issues with the man’s identification, officers searched him and his vehicle finding the two illegal items.

Force, Meridian Street

At 1 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the intersection of Meridian Street and Memorial Drive after two female juveniles were fighting over an undisclosed reason. When officers arrived they found friends of the juveniles recording the fight on their cell phones. The two juveniles were cited and reported to their parents.

Under the influence, Sally Street

Just after 11:15 p.m., Friday in the intersection of Sally and Park streets, officers were on patrol when they found two people on probation walking in the area. Officers started talking with the two probationers and one of them was nervous and fidgety. After testing if he was under the influence of a substance, officers were told he was using oxycontin. He was place under arrest.

Dog bite, Monte Carlo Drive

At 7 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Monte Carlo Drive, officers were called after three dogs broke into a neighbor’s home and hid under the owner’s bed. When the homeowner was trying to get the dogs out of her home, one of them attacked and bit her. Officers did not report on the breed of the dogs involved. The woman was treated for scratches on her hand.

Battery, San Benito Street

Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, officers reported to the 300 block of San Benito Street after reports of a man lying down in the street. When officers arrived they found the man near San Benito Billiards with a large laceration on his head. Witnesses reported that an unidentified man attacked the man. The victim, who was flown to a Bay Area Hospital, was unable to identify the suspect because he was intoxicated.
