A 34 year-old San Juan Bautista woman was arrested by Hollister police March 31 and was charged in San Benito Superior Court with one count of forging a prescription.

According to police, officers executed a search warrant at the home of Temple Stone after several pharmacies reported fake prescriptions being used by her. The first report of forged prescriptions surfaced March 6 with another on March 17, according to police.

When police arrived at the woman’s home, they said they found “numerous narcotics” that the woman had obtained with fake doctors’ prescriptions. Stone was transported to San Benito County Jail without incident where she posted bail of $10,000 and is free until an arraignment hearing set for 8:30 a.m. April 15 in San Benito County Superior Court.
