The annual National Night Out gathering in Hollister is set for Tuesday.
Hollister’s National Night Out is set for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Hollister on San Benito Street, according to the Hollister Police Department.
According to the HPD, National Night Out Hollister is a “celebration of our communities stand against crime.” Communities throughout the national celebrate the event Tuesday as well.
There will be entertainment, activities and presentations during the event, according to police.
This year there will be a first. The HPD and San Benito County Sheriff’s Office are set to partner for the first time in hosting the local National Night Out. Previously, they have hosted events independently.
