City Hall

The Hollister City Council is set to hold a special meeting Tuesday to close off side streets for the motorcycle rally and give direction on the 2013-14 budget.

Council members are set to meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.

Council members are expected to OK the temporary closure of Fifth and Sixth streets in downtown Hollister for the motorcycle rally. The event is scheduled for July 5-6 in the downtown area, while the city stressed on the council agenda that vendors will not be selling items until those dates.

Additionally, council members are scheduled to give final direction to the staff for the budget, based on discussions out of budget hearing workshops held previously.

Look back to find out what the motorcycle rally manager had to say about planning for the event.
