San Benito High School FFA President Kelly Mancino, along with two club members, presented the San Benito County Flag to the county board of supervisors at the Tuesday meeting during the public comment period.

“I want to thank you for presnting the county flag,” said Supervisor Anthony Botelho, at the meeting. “It will add a lot of pride.”

Supervisor Margie Barrios said she enjoyed watching the students through the process of developing the flag.

“We will be proud to put it up next to the state and American flag in the next few days,” she said.

While the FFA members presented the flag, they will return with a base for the flag after they fill it with sand.
