Dear Editor:

Interesting Free Lance article, “City Web site to be more user-friendly.”

Unfortunately, the city did not make it taxpayer friendly.

As usual, Councilman Tony LoBue expresses his joy of the city spending taxpayer money. In this case, spending $24,500 for the new city Web site after individuals have offered the city to do it free. It is on record from previous City Council meetings.

Even as our alleys and roads are pitted with pot holes and a $56 million lawsuit from developer Award Homes, hangs over the city, LoBue flaunts his downtown “brick sidewalks” costing the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

LoBue lives up to the adage, “Government doesn’t make money, government spends money.”

Hold on to your wallet county taxpayer, the word is LoBue may run for supervisor.
