If you’re driving onto the frontage road off San Felipe Road as you head out of the downtown area, you might need to avoid a series of pretty jagged potholes lining the middle of the street.

The streak of three or four potholes are located almost smack dab in middle of the street, near the intersection of McCloskey Road across from Dassel’s Petroleum. If drivers aren’t careful, it’s possible to drive over multiple potholes, the largest one being fairly imposing and big enough to cause some possible safety issues.

City of Hollister public works officials are aware of the potholes on the frontage road. They compile a list of them each week and go out Fridays to fill the reported potholes.
