Earthquake

HOLLISTER

There was a magnitude-3.1 earthquake Sunday night near Pinnacles National Monument, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. Sunday with an epicenter 14 miles southeast of the national monument, according to the USGS.

The quake was about 40 miles southeast of Hollister.

There was no reported damage.
