Dear Editor,
I served on the board and acted as secretary for the Hollister Motorcycle Rally Committee for the 2007 rally. I want to personally thank the rest of the board and all HMRC members for the time and hard work that was required to bring our rally back to the community.
Raising the rally from the “dead” was not an easy task. We could not have done it without Horsepower Promotions. HMRC members should feel much pride for a job well done. The success of the 2007 rally could not have been realized without the hard work of this group of citizens.
I hope that the new arrangement between the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Hollister will ensure the success of 2008 Hollister Motorcycle Rally.
The City of Hollister has much to be proud of with their heritage of being the Birthplace of the American Biker. If we all keep working together in harmony, our rally can be a continued source of revenue for our local businesses and a great fund raising opportunity for our local charities. Great job HMRC! It was a pleasure to work with you all.
