Bikers are parking on San Benito Street as the 2013 Hollister Rally gets started.

After a five-year absence, the two-day Hollister Motorcycle Rally has started in downtown Hollister.
It looks as though crowds are starting to develop earlier than prior rallies on the first morning. That might have something to do with the schedule. The event is Friday and Saturday in downtown Hollister and is condensed into two days, compared with three days for prior sanctioned rallies.
Managed by Worldwide Dynamics, the rally returned this year following the city’s cancellation of the event after 2008. Along with a return to the July 4 weekend, the 2013 event features motorcycles back on San Benito Street.
