San Benito High School will hold its annual Winter Concert
Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
San Benito High School will hold its annual Winter Concert Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.

The concert will feature the concert band, marching band, jazz band, orchestra and color guard, directed by James R. Zuniga with guest director Dr. Richard Lowry. The concert is free and open to the public.

Joining in the concert will be several members of the school’s special education class who will play along with the band on one song. As an added treat, outgoing Superintendent Dick Lowry will be directing that song.

Dr. Lowry began his career in local education in the 1960s as a music director at the high school.

Snacks will be sold in the auditorium lobby from 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Refreshments will be served follow the concert in the cafeteria.
