ARRESTS

Burglary, West Graf Road

Residents of a home on the 1700 block of West Graf Road were awakened at 4:20 a.m. Sunday by a burglar climbing into their home through a window. They hid in a closet and called 911. Law enforcement arrived to find that the burglar, a 38-year-old Hollister woman, was still in the home. They arrested her and booked her into the county jail for trespassing, burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Theft, San Juan Road

At 11 a.m. Friday deputies responded to a report of theft at Minimax Public Storage at 2450 San Juan Road. Fuel had been stolen out of RVs. Deputies observed surveillance tape, and the owner identified the man as a 34-year-old Hollister resident that rents a storage space. Deputies located the man and arrested him.

Possession, San Benito St.

A sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop at 3:15 p.m. Saturday and noticed a smell of marijuana as he approached. The driver admitted he had been smoking. A search revealed a loaded semi-automatic .32 caliber handgun, 19.9 grams of marijuana in individual bags, a scale and a pipe. The 20-year-old Hollister suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail.
