Coming through Chemo

brings back my time of chemo that I went through last year. I
had just lost my father and mother. The next year, I found out that
I had breast cancer and maybe that was for the best if it had to
be. I gave all my time to my parents who meant so much to me. I’m
glad they weren’t here to see me go through this terrible
disease.
Editor,

Reading the article “Coming through Chemo” brings back my time of chemo that I went through last year. I had just lost my father and mother. The next year, I found out that I had breast cancer and maybe that was for the best if it had to be. I gave all my time to my parents who meant so much to me. I’m glad they weren’t here to see me go through this terrible disease.

I felt just like the woman in the article did – that there wasn’t any way out of it except to think positive and be strong for your family. Not only was I going through such a bad time, my family was going through the same pain.

God bless our families and friends with all their prayers. That makes you stronger and more positive. I will survive.
