As long-time residents of Tres Pinos (36 years), we do not want
to see a hotel/motel built across the street from us on Southside
and Airline Highway. We have enjoyed raising our sons in this quiet
little town. They attended a wonderful elementary school and rode
their bikes up the bike path that is adjacent to the proposed hotel
site to get there.

We have enjoyed raising our sons in this quiet little town. They attended a wonderful elementary school and rode their bikes up the bike path that is adjacent to the proposed hotel site to get there.
There is commercially zoned property behind us in the center of town where this development could be built. Why chose property in our residential area? We think supervisors need to really think this through before they let this happen in our little town. The business owners might want the hotel, but the residents of Tres Pinos do not.
