I am wondering why John Sarsfield seems to be the target of
criticism by a handful of malcontent. Some people hide in the
anonymity section, others have the courage to sign a name. Still I
wonder why such discontent is heaped on someone who is taking his
job very seriously.

John Sarsfield won his election with an overwhelming vote of approval. Because of his trust placed in him by the electorate he cleaned up a backlog of criminal cases. In the process he discovered unethical procedures, which could place a cloud on a conviction.
I believe John Sarsfield feels the weight of his office on his shoulders and since “the buck stops with him” he must conform to the laws and make sure no one is wrongly sent to prison, or on the other hand a person may be guilty but escapes conviction.
I thoroughly support him in his effort to perform his office to the very best of his ability. I know our county is very lucky to have a person of his caliber as our District Attorney. I believe to have a District Attorney who works for the liberty and justice for all is the best and highest use of the taxpayer’s money.
