As I read your story about the family member of a person killed
at Hollister Hills wanting something done, I wonder why. As an avid
off road rider I know the risks involved with off road riding. You
take that risk whenever you get on a bike. The state has no need to
tell everybody it’s dangerous.
Editor,
As I read your story about the family member of a person killed at Hollister Hills wanting something done, I wonder why. As an avid off road rider I know the risks involved with off road riding. You take that risk whenever you get on a bike. The state has no need to tell everybody it’s dangerous.
I think back to the lady who burned herself with coffee when she spilled it on herself. For God’s sake it’s hot coffee. I try to ride within my skills but sometime you don’t. I have seen many riders go zooming past me just to come around the corner and see them picking up their bike.
There are a few things that all riders need to remember: 1) Wear all your safety gear. 2) Ride with in you ability. 3) All riders will crash.
