3.2 quake hits Aromas Jan. 26

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake Thursday morning near Aromas, while there was a 3.4-magnitude quake Wednesday night.

The latest area quake occured at 6:21 a.m. Thursday morning four miles northwest of Aromas and 17 miles northwest of Hollister, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

The quake Wednesday struck at 6:20 p.m. in the same area, which is around 17 miles from Hollister, and measured at 3.4-magnitude.

Both earthquakes were at a depth of 6.9 miles.
