Galdos Branum celebrates 101st birthday
Louise Galdos Branum was born to Beatrice and Tom Galdos on Jan
31, 1910, in Amador, where her father was a gold miner. Louise and
her family moved to Hollister in 1926, when she was 16 years old
and went to work for K
&
amp; S Market, where she was the very first female employee
there. Louise worked for them until 1982.
Louise enjoys life to the fullest and remembers the joy of
growing up in Hollister. Louise is the second oldest of 10
children~enjoys spending every Sunday afternoons with her 3
sisters, singing and talking about the old days and current
events.
