The boys soccer team fell 1-0 to Salinas on Thursday.
A first half goal by Salinas’ Jose Mendoza was the difference, as San Benito couldn’t muster a goal.
With the loss, San Benito is 4-3-1 in the Tri-County Athletic League with three games left to play.
San Benito travels to Gilroy at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

A second-half goal by San Benito earned a 1-1 tie with Salinas on Wednesday.
The tie gives San Benito a 4-2-2 record in the TCAL.
San Benito hosts Gilroy at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
