1. Save the Music Oscar Party: The Save Hollister Music committee will host its annual Save the Music Oscar night party Feb. 26, at the Vault, at 5 p.m. Come watch the awards on the big screen while enjoying food, a no-host bar and many other fun activities. 2. Garden meditation: The Hollister Japanese Temple Garden will host a one-hour meditation Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., at 920 Riverside Road, in Hollister. Details: 637-6361.
3. ‘Lend Me a Tenor’: San Benito Stage Company will present its annual dinner theater show. This year’s show is the comedy ‘Lend Me a Tenor.’ Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. A table for eight can be purchased in advance for $235, with a complimentary bottle of wine. Tickets are available at Postal Graphics, Paine’s Restaurant or through the San Benito Stage Company. 4. Mardi Gras dinner and dance: The Community Food Bank is hosting a Mardi Gras dinner, dance and silent auction Feb. 25, from 6 to 11 p.m., at San Juan Oaks. Tickets are $100 a person. 5. Hollister Art League exhibit: The Hollister Art League as an exhibit up at Mars Hill Coffee House. It includes paintings by Pat Zuniga and Sylvia Nichols. Zuinga’s pieces include images of the California missions and gardens. Nichols will show a series of churches done with linocuts and watercolors. The show runs through April.
