Auto enthusiasts, motorcycle connoisseurs and bicyclists of all skill levels listen up: A Road Rally is on its way into town and you’re invited.

The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is announcing its first Discover Morgan Hill Road Rally and Poker Fun Run on Saturday, July 21.

Those interested in entering the Road Rally with a vehicle of choice can visit www.mhroadrally.com. The Road Rally is open to all auto enthusiasts, motorcycle connoisseurs, and bicyclists at every skill level. The general entry deadline is extended to July 21 and cost for entry is $35 per vehicle. Participants choose individual routes for their own tours based on their interests.

The rally begins at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center at 17000 Monterey Road at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 21, and then proceeds through both the city and countryside to participating businesses.

Each participant will have a chance to win $500 cash at the close of the race with the poker playing cards that are collected from each participating business. It ends at 1 p.m.

The Road Rally will showcase the multiple places that make South Santa Clara County such an attractive area for businesses and residents. Additionally, it will raise funds for the MHCF’s “10 for 10” program, a $10,000 grant that will be awarded in November to commemorate the MHCF’s 10 years of philanthropy. All businesses within Morgan Hill, San Martin and Gilroy are invited to participate as a sponsored stop.

The event is designed to introduce new customers and draw repeating customers to local businesses throughout the area. Details: www.morganhillcf.org.
