The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a
19-year-old man suspected of possessing methamphetamine and
firearms, along with another 15-year-old linked to the same drug
allegations, according to a statement from the sheriff’s
office.

At about 7 a.m. Thursday, deputies executed a search warrant on the first block of Chittenden Road, about halfway between San Juan Bautista and Aromas. They seized five bindles of meth, two rifles and a handgun, according to the statement.

The man, Elizar Calderon Jr., was arrested and booked into the county jail with recommended charges of possessing a controlled substance, being a felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy and participating in a gang, all felonies, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies arrested a 15-year-old who was booked into juvenile hall with recommended charges of possessing a controlled substance for sale, conspiracy and participating in a gang, all felonies.
