A Hollister man accused of molesting a child under age 14 had a trial setting continued until next week, according to court records.
The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas Loguidice, 54, in October and accused him of lewd acts with a child under age 14. Deputies arrested Loguidice after receiving information that he “performed lewd acts” with a girl under age 14, according to the sheriff’s office.
Loguidice is accused of performing the acts at the girl’s home in Hollister within the month before his arrest. He is suspected of spending time alone with the victim by earning the trust of the family, according to investigators. Loguidice is booked into San Benito County Jail on $150,000 bail.
Loguidice on Thursday had a trial setting – where a jury trial date could be set – continued to 10 a.m. Wednesday in room 101 before Judge Steven Sanders.
Anyone with more information on the case is urged to call the sheriff’s office at (831) 636-4080 or call its TIP LINE at 636-4084.
