Hollister resident Jaclyn Buzzetta appeared on “The Price is Right” episode that aired Wednesday and made it to the “Showcase” before losing out to another contestant.

Buzzetta was picked to appear and advanced to the game “Line em Up” by outbidding the other four people on a washer and dryer on contestants’ row. The show was taped earlier but aired this week on Channel 5, KION.

She played the “Line em Up” game and made it to the “Showcase” by spinning for a total of 90 out of 100 on the “Showcase Showdown.”

In the “Showcase,” Buzzetta lost out. She bid on a trip to Amsterdam, a new Volkswagen Golf, and two bicycles. Her bid of $23,350 was short by $6,149.

Her opponent Daniel was short on his bid by $4,669 and proceeded to run around the studio after winning a jet ski, a trip to Antigua, surf boards and women’s swim wear.

The longest-running game show in television history, “The Price is Right” is hosted by Drew Carey. It is nominated for a 2008 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show.
