Wildlife abounds in San Benito County
Take a moment and look up, and you might be surprised at what
you see. San Benito County is home to plenty of feathered wildlife
from the rare California Condors that call Pinnacles National
Monument home to the common Red-Winged Blackbirds that begin to
display their bright, red patches on fenceposts along Hwy. 25.
This week two readers happened across birds of prey on their
travels through the county, including a Bald Eagle and a Red-Tailed
Hawk, and they were nice enough to share their sights.
