North County, or Spring Grove School, serves much of rural north San Benito County and a small portion of southern Santa Clara County. The upgrades include a partnership between the district and San Benito County, which fronted $455,000 of the nearly $800,000 needed for the sports fields, said Don Kelley, chairman of the county parks and recreation commission.
“We’re just really trying to promote the efforts of the school and the parks commission and the county,” he said.
