Mayor Ignacio Velazquez speaks at the meeting.

A group of school district, city and county leaders has postponed a gathering this week to talk about collaboration.
The meeting was originally planned for 6 p.m. Thursday May 28 at Mars Hill Coffeehouse on 610 San Benito Street in Hollister but it has been postponed “due to an emergency,” explained Hollister School District Trustee Peter Hernandez in an email.
Hernandez, San Benito High School District Board President Ray Rodriguez, Hollister Mayor Ignacio Velazquez, and San Benito County Board of Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz planned to talk about collaboration during the meeting, which had not been rescheduled as of press time.
