Caltrans is planning to conduct repairs to a bridge on southbound Highway 101 near San Juan Bautista over two days next week.
According to the announcement from the state agency:
Crews will continue to make repairs to the San Benito River Bridge on southbound Highway 101 near San Juan Bautista for two days, Tuesday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Feb. 10, Caltrans officials have announced.
The #1 (right) lane will be closed in the southbound direction from 9 am to 3 pm each day. Motorists can expect delays of 15-20 minutes.
Electronic message boards will be placed to inform motorists of roadwork. The CHP will assist with traffic control.
The concrete rail was recently hit and damaged. Roadwork was delayed because of inclement weather but is expected to be completed by next Wednesday, Feb. 10, weather permitting. This roadwork is being done by Hollister Maintenance and San Luis Obispo Bridge crews
