I read in the Free Lance that Ms. Jennifer Zapata, chairperson
for the San Benito County Republican Central Committee, is suing
Dr. Marvin Jones for not getting her approval on campaign finances,
even though all treasurer reports were submitted and approved by
the committee during the tenure of Dr. Jones as chairman. If Ms.
Zapata had a dispute, she could have questioned the treasurer’s
report at each meeting.

I read in the Free Lance that Ms. Jennifer Zapata, chairperson for the San Benito County Republican Central Committee, is suing Dr. Marvin Jones for not getting her approval on campaign finances, even though all treasurer reports were submitted and approved by the committee during the tenure of Dr. Jones as chairman. If Ms. Zapata had a dispute, she could have questioned the treasurer’s report at each meeting.
I hope I am not mistaken when I assumed that Ms. Zapata is doing this on her own. I do not know of our committee approving such an unprofessional act. As a member representing District 3 in San Benito County, I hope you understand, that you, Jennifer Zapata, are on your own if any litigation comes back. You are allowed as an individual citizen to act on your own behalf. And in doing so, you have once again embarrassed the committee.
Again, I ask that you resign for the good of the party.
