Editor,
We sure look forward to all the job opportunities that will come available to us here in Tres Pinos when the new motel is built (said with sarcasm). It’ll be a lot better than the large casino that wanted to build in our county. You remember that deal that was almost immediately thrown to the gutter, Supervisor Monaco? After all, just think of all those jobs that could have been had. Oh well, Tres Pinos really needs a motel built in the residential zoned area of the town. No sense in building one in the commercial zoned area – that would make too much sense.
Mr. Eade, if you really want to make Tres Pinos appear like a bustling town of years gone by, how about putting a bloodless bullfighting ring instead? At least then the traffic that crosses the area where the school kids walk would be safer for them because it wouldn’t be so busy during the weekdays. Plus you probably could think of a way to do it without having to have a water meter.
