CAR THEFT:
Ricardo Saez, 22, of 2000 Union Rd., and Yvonne Rochelle Blanco, 25, of 1341 Carmela Ct. in Hollister, were arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies for felony car theft in the 1500 block of Nash Road at 3:40pm on Monday. After receiving a call of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence on Union Road, a deputy located the car and discovered it was stolen out of Gilroy. Both suspects had outstanding misdemeanor warrants in San Benito County, police said.
A beige 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood was stolen from the 2400 block of Glenview Drive between 4:30am and 7:15pm Monday.
THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole three display cell phones valued at approximately $300 each from Verizon Wireless in the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road at around 1pm on Monday.
Jose Saucedo Carrillo, 35, was arrested by Hollister police for petty theft, a felony because he had a prior theft arrest, after he stole a bicycle from the 600 block of San Benito Street around 1:40pm on Monday, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Camilo Aguas Morales, 22, who lives in the 800 block of Hazel Street in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and driving without a license, misdemeanors, at 10:42pm on San Juan Road, west of Lucy Brown Avenue on Sunday.
All persons named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
