It was a fabulous year for the Hollister High girls soccer team,
which qualified for the Central Coast Section playoffs for the
first time since 1995 and had 10 players named to the
all-Tri-County Athletic League team.

Balers Brianna Griffith, Jenny Maheu and Jennifer Vandenburg were selected to the all-T-CAL first team. Vandenburg was also named the league’s Sophomore of the Year.
Second-team picks were Vanessa Gowett, Chantelle Guajardo and Michelle Sanchez. Lorena Villagomez, Becky Bonner and Kory Case were named honorable mention, and Ali Schmidt was chosen to the sportsmanship team.
