I can’t believe everyone is making such a big deal about the new
trees in downtown Hollister. People should be more concerned about
being able to cross San Benito Street without getting run over.
Why not close off San Benito for five or six blocks so people
can walk around like they do in Boulder, Colorado, and some
Southern California towns like Hermosa Beach? That way they could
plant plenty of trees and make it really nice for relaxing and
shopping downtown.
