Heat tryouts
Tryouts for the Hollister Heat ‘A’ girls fastpitch softball travel team for 2004 for age 12, 14 and 16 will be held Dec. 14 and Jan. 10 at the Heat field at Veteran’s Memorial Park. Pride tryouts
The Pride of Morgan Hill girls softball tryouts for 12A, 14A and 16A will be held Sunday, Dec. 14 at Community Park in Morgan Hill. 12A and 16A age groups are 1 p.m. The 14U pitchers and catchers start at 1 p.m., and position players meet at 2 p.m. Players need to bring a birth certificate with them. Special rate
Every Sunday during the month of December, donate at least one canned food item per person and receive the special green fee rate or $60 (walk) or $75 (with cart) at San Juan Oaks. All donations will go to the Hollister Community Pantry to help feed needy people this holiday season.

Little League signups
The final Hollister Little League registration will be held Saturday, Jan. 3 at the Hollister Recreation Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fees are $85 for the first player, $50 for an additional player and $50 for T-ball. Please make sure to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, medical insurance information, check or cash and a copy of a valid government issued photo identification from the registrant. Space needed
The Razorback Wrestling Club is a nonprofit organization looking for a workout facility. They have two full size 60′ by 60′ wrestling mats that need to be accommodated. Workout space is extremely limited. Call David Salcedo at 831-902-0651.
