Local organization sets workshop to help non-profits apply for its grants
The Community Foundation of San Benito County is accepting grant applications from non-profit community organizations that meet the criteria.
Using earnings from its first permanent community endowment fund, the Foundation is now in the financial position to consider grants totaling up to $10,500, which will be awarded in December 2002. The deadline for applications for this grant cycle is Nov. 1, 2002.
In order to assist potential grant applicants in understanding and applying for these grants, the Foundation has scheduled a special Grants Workshop on Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. at the YMCA, 339 Fifth Street, Hollister.
Everyone attending will receive a Grant Application packet. For more information, please contact Gary Byrne, Executive Director at 831-630-1924.
Those unable to attend the workshop should pick up a Grant Application form after Oct. 1 at the Community Foundation office 719 San Benito St, Suite G, or on the web site at www.cffsbc.org
