FOSMAS We Have Kittens

We have kittens coming out of our ears.  We have oodles of kittens…a whole kit ‘n caboodle of kittens!  Adopt a kitten (or two to double your fun).   See our kittens at our permanent adoption centers in Petco Gilroy or PetsMart Milpitas, on our website, or at local pet adoption fairs.
We’re still offering our Independence Special, too, for adult cats 18 months or older.  These adults qualify for a reduced adoption fee of $17.76 during July only.
FOSMAS Annual Rummage Sale
Our annual Rummage Sale will be held at the San Martin Animal Shelter on October 18th – 20th.    The proceeds from this very popular event helps us buy services and supplies for the many animals in our care.   Volunteer Kim Capps is once again our Rummage Sale Coordinator.   It takes months of preparation before the rummage sale:  staffing to accept donations, sorting and pricing, and of course staffing during the three days of the sale.  If you can help, please contact Kim directly at [email protected].
Foster Homes (and Adopters) Needed
If you, your family, friends, coworkers, or social contacts are interested in fostering for FOSMAS, please contact our Foster Coordinator Linda Cunningham at [email protected] or (408) 595-3609.  It’s so rewarding to see your foster animals grow, thrive, and win the hearts of their new adopters.  Seeing them go to their forever homes is usually a mix of joy and tears.  We can’t help but love them like our own so it’s hard to see them go.  But when they’re going to a wonderful home, it’s worth it.
FOSMAS Adoption Centers
Our two permanent adoption centers are temporary homes for cats and kittens as they await their forever homes.  We need to staff each with reliable and dedicated volunteers so we know the kitties are well taken care of every day.  Could youvolunteer there to help care for our kitties?   If you can donate a few hours a week, we’d love to have your help.  Please contact Linda Cunningham at [email protected] if you’d like to help at Petco Gilroy; or Paula Myers at [email protected] if you’d like to help at PetsMart Milpitas.  It’s the best and happiest volunteer job you’ll ever have, and is one way to love kitties without the full responsibility of actual pet ownership, help kitties without adding to your own household kitty headcount, or fill your kitty void from having an allergic family member.
Contact FOSMAS by phone (408) 681-3788 or e-mail [email protected].  Visit our website at http://www.fosmas.org to see our adoptable animals, current events, and news, or visit our permanent adoption centers at PetsMart Milpitas or Petco Gilroy.
FOSMAS is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, whose primary mission is to help the homeless animals of Santa Clara County and to reduce the euthanasia rate at the San Martin Animal Shelter.
