The San Benito County Fair celebrates “old traditions and new beginnings” this weekend as the fair runs Friday through Sunday.
The fair includes carnival rides, mud drags, truck pulls, and lots of family fun.
Individual tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors 65 and older. Family Fair packages are available for $20, which includes two adult passes, two kid passes and one parking pass. Residents may also purchase advance fair tickets for $18 at these locations: Postal Graphics, Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, McAbee Feed, San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and Ranchers Feed.
Special events, including the mud drags and truck pulls, are $7 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. The bull riding event on Sunday is $10 for all adults. Children 7 and under get in free.
A free shuttle bus is available to and from the fair all weekend. The bus will leave from Veterans Memorial Park, Kmart, Fourth and San Benito streets, and the Community Health Foundation. For a complete schedule and times, go to www.sanbenitocountyexpress.org/shuttle.html.
