Let me introduce you to our cat. Not only does she look unique with her green eyes and split face, but so is her story and her never ending daily adventures. Our cat was adopted five years ago when she was very young from the Macy’s S.F. store. She came with the name Halloween, but we call her Macy, but never forgetting her original name.
Macy Halloween is so unique we don’t even see her as just a cat. She has a big personality, she really listens to you when you talk to her and she comes when you call her. She is one smart cat.
Everyday when we get home from work she is right there at the front door greeting us as we walk in with a big kitty hug. She is so soft like a warm blanket on a cold night.
Macy likes to look her very best. I know it may sound weird for a cat, but she loves to be brushed with a hairbrush. She lays and stretches out all over the floor as we brush her super soft fur. She purrs and grabs the brush and loves to just rub her face all over the hairbrush.
Macy also loves to socialize; you will never find her hiding in a room. She likes to be in the center of all the action. Even if it’s late at night and she is tired, Macy won’t go to bed until everyone has gone to bed and the party is over.
Macy is an indoor cat, but when she wants a little fresh air she runs to the front door and gives us a little kitty meow. We can’t say no to that face, so of course we let her out to run around and have some outdoor fun, but she always stays close to us.
Macy loves to play with shadows that come through our kitchen windows. She jumps all over the walls and runs all over the floor as if she just pounced on a mouse or is digging for her favorite treats.
Macy enjoys playing hide-and-seek. I will be at one end of the hall around the corner and she will be at the other end and I will slowly peek my head in and out until she runs and jumps on me.
Macy is a cat that not only entertains herself, but us as well. She plays with her toys, but give her a box and she will squeeze herself in to it. She is a joy to be around and will always make you smile.
We love our cat “Macy” couldn’t ask for a better friend.
